  • Applicants who satisfy these criteria will be eligible for an entrance test.
  • Gate CS 2016 Cleared Candidates can also apply for entrance test.
  • Minimum 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PH).

Eligibility Criteria for 5 Year Integrated Program in Social Science

XIIth Pass in any Discipline having 55% for General/OBC and 50% for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for M.A./ M.Sc. in Criminology and Police Studies

Graduate in any Discipline having 55% for General/OBC and 50% for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for M.A. in Applied Sociology

Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PH).

Eligibility Criteria for LL.M/M.A. in Criminal Law

• For LL.M. (Criminal Law) Degree Course of study shall be open to those candidates
  
  • Who have passed the Three Year LL.B. Degree Examination of any UGC recognized University or Institution after Graduation under 10+2+3 pattern; or
  • Five Year LL.B. Degree Course under 10+2+5 pattern as is recognized by this University as equivalent for the purpose of LL.M. Degree Course and have secured not less than 55% marks in aggregate in the LL.B. Examinations.
• For M.A. (Criminal Law) Degree Course of study shall be open to in service persons of law enforcement agencies having five year experience in service and graduation degree with 55% marks in aggregate.

Steps for submission of Admission Form-2016

• Visit University website www.policeuniversity.ac.in to fill the application form.
• Click on “Register tab to register. On clicking register tab, you will be redirected to new link.
• Fill basic details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, educational qualification etc. (as mentioned in 10th class mark sheet), Email and Mobile number etc.
• Candidates are required to exercise their options/preferences to select the entrance exam center for appearing in written exam through drop down menu.
• Upload your recent photograph not older than three months and thereafter, upload your signature.
• Submit the application and take print out the acknowledgement for records.
• Check your application before submission as you will not be allowed to edit after final submission.
• For Submission of form, applying candidate will have two options, either (i) Save & Deposit fee Online, (ii) Save & Deposit fee by Challan.
• Instructions regarding payment methods are given on "HELP" tab which is situated on the Right Corner of the Application form.
• On selecting Online payment method you will you will be redirected to payment channel where you have to choose payment method either internet banking, credit card or debit card for payment of entrance exam fees.
• On selecting offline payment method, a challan will be generated which has to be submitted in bank.
• For Online payment method, on successful payment you will get acknowledgement slip contain journal number and other details. Keep the slip for future interaction with the university during the admission process.
• For Offline payment method, after successfull payment in bank, candidate has to update transaction details through "Application Status" tab situated on the right corner of application form.
